Plenary Lecture: From Innovation to Impact: Sorption and Delivery Systems for Society

Bridging innovative fundamental research with industrial collaboration is key to developing and transferring new products to market. This presentation highlights nearly 15 years of experience in creating and commercializing delivery and sorption systems for various industries. These systems leverage advanced micro- and nanoencapsulation technologies and reticular chemistry to design porous metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). The talk will showcase examples of the development and integration of these systems into real-world products across sectors such as home care, paints, food, and water purification, demonstrating the impact of research-driven innovation in diverse applications.
