Associazione Netval
Associazione Netval
Knowledge Share platform is a joint venture involving Netval, the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM) at MIMIT (Ministry Of Enterprises and Made in Italy) and the Politecnico di Torino. It showcases projects developed by Italian Universities and Research Centres, in pursuit of collaboration and commercialisation opportunities. Access is free and open to all large companies, SMEs, investment funds, Italian and foreign accelerators and incubators and is subject to registration. By registering to the platform, users will be able to interact with the project team, access content relating to published projects, and send contact requests for technologies and realities of their interest from which possible collaborations and synergies may arise. The KS 2.0 platform renews the objective of optimising contact between research and the entrepreneurial network, but with a new and constantly updated user experience and content. In fact, among the major new features, the patent section has been joined by the Start-Up and Spin-Off sections: a highly relevant implementation, especially for the world of innovation today. Not only that, to make it easier for users to search for projects, KS 2.0 uses AI to improve the 'match' between what they are looking for and the projects on the platform. Finally, in addition to further implementations of the platform, the aim of the KS project is to be able to replicate the KS 2.0 platform model internationally through scalable and replicable projects. A goal that is being worked on to generate impact through a real ecosystem, in addition to the one already existing thanks to the KS community in Italy. The Knowledge Share platform and related events are projects developed and strenghtened within the PNNR and the Next Generation EU project.

HUN-REN Office for Supported Research Groups
HUN-REN Office for Supported Research Groups
In addition to research centres and research institutes, the Hungarian Research Network currently comprises 116 independent supported research groups operating at universities and other public institutions. These groups can receive support for their research based on their successful application. The administrative tasks related to their operation are handled by the HUN-REN Office for Supported Research Groups (HUN-REN TKI).

They provide an organic link between HUN-REN and major Hungarian research universities, thus laying the foundations for high-level partnerships of excellence.
The research carried out in these groups contributes significantly to Hungarian scientific output. Due to its many practical applications, this can also be used to the benefit of society. Research by several life sciences groups is contributing, for example, to the conservation of biodiversity, the development of region-wide reconstruction programs, and improvements in public health. In addition to successful basic research activities, the research carried out here in the field of natural sciences also helps solve many practical issues, including the lateral stability of self-driving vehicles, water management issues at Lake Balaton, and the development of new composite materials.
Several groups are carrying out essential research in the field of Hungarian history and language. It is worth highlighting the work associated with language technology and the publication of archives from the Anjou and the Sigismund eras, which can be regarded as valuable scientific work. In addition, studies are undertaken into many other popular and important social science issues, such as social and generational differences in behaviors detrimental to public health.
