The Balearic Islands Coastal Observing and Forecasting System (SOCIB) is a Unique Scientific and Technical Infrastructure (ICTS) that operates an observing and forecasting system in the Western Mediterranean, provides access to metocean data and essential facilities, and provides services and tools to the scientific community, the public administration, and the business sector at both national and international levels.

Health Research Institute of the Balearic Islands (IdISBa)
The Health Research Institute of the Balearic Islands (IdISBa) results from the association and collaboration between the different organisms and centers of biomedical and healthcare activity in the Balearic Islands.
The Institute was created on 23 December 2013. It was first named Health Research Institute of Palma (IdISPa) until 2017, when its name was changed to Health Research Institute of the Balearic Islands after the modification of its statutes. Thus, IdISBa is made up of the following entities: Ministry of Health of the Balearic Islands, Son Espases University Hospital, Mallorca Primary Healthcare Service, University Institute for Research into Health Sciences (IUNICS), Son Llàtzer University Hospital, and the Blood and Tissue Bank of the Balearic Islands Foundation. Thanks to the human capital that all these entities provide, our research critical mass grows and many collaborations are born, promoting the development of research projects between different services and professionals from the healthcare sector.
In January 2019, IdISBa was awarded the recognition of being a distinguished health research institute by the Carlos III Health Institute, in accordance with Royal Decree 279/2016, of 24 June, on the accreditation of biomedical or health research institutes.

MC3 Mondragon Components Competence Center, in addition to being part of the development teams of its companies, acts as a bridge between the products marketed by its companies and the science and technology of its wide network of partners.
MC3 Mondragon Components Competence Center was set up to promote and encourage collaboration in R&D&I projects at Mondragon Components, the Division of the MONDRAGON Corporation to which it belongs: COPRECI, ERREKA, EIKA, ORKLI, FAGOR ELECTRONICA, TAJO & EMBEGA.

We are a private, not-for-profit entity, created to promote the use of hydrogen as an energy vector.
The initiative was promoted by the Government of Aragon in 2003 with the support of the administration, industry and the main society actors form different sectors of activity.
Twenty-eight entities, research centres and companies support the launch of this initiative, which is gaining new support year after year, which today has become a board made up of 93 members of key importance for the Aragonese economy.
With the support of the board members, the Foundation works day by day for the development of new hydrogen technologies integrated with renewable energies and the promotion of Aragon´s involvement in economic activities relating to the use of hydrogen as an energy vector.

The Institute of Chemical Synthesis and Homogeneous Catalysis (ISQCH) is a joint research institute of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the University of Zaragoza (UNIZAR), and is recognized as eligible for funding by the Government of Aragon.
ISQCH focuses its research on basic synthesis (organic, inorganic, and organometallic) and catalysis (homogeneous, heterogeneous, enzymatic, and organocatalysis), as well as applied research in areas such as biomedicine (theragnosis, chemotherapy), energy (hydrogen storage, water decomposition), sustainability (CO2 utilization), and the circular economy (waste valorization), using a multidisciplinary approach.

The Aragon Institute for Engineering Research (I3A) has, since its creation in 2002, a decided international vocation. Its commitment to innovative science stands out, mainly based on international collaboration.
Its different research groups work and interact with groups and institutions around the world. Its participation in European projects, in consortia and programs whose objective is the advancement of the knowledge society stands out.
The I3A was the first Research Institute created by the University of Zaragoza, in 2002. On May 14, the Government of Aragon approved Decree 169/2002 that marked the beginning of a new stage and the commitment to science from University. Thus, the research capacity of a good part of the university groups of the School of Engineering and Architecture (EINA) was grouped together with others of the Faculty of Sciences, Economics and Business and Veterinary Medicine.
Today, the I3A is one of the research benchmarks in Aragon and the first in technological research with more than 500 professionals and 34 research groups in Biomedical Engineering, Information and Communication Technologies, Processes and Recycling and Industrial Technologies.

IIS Aragon is the Health Research Institute of the Hospital Complex formed by the University Hospitals “Hospital Clínico Universitario Lozano Blesa” and “Hospital Universitario Miguel Servet” and Primary Health Care. The IIS Aragón is the Health Research Institute made up of the “Lozano Blesa” and “Miguel Servet” University Hospitals, Primary Health Care, the University of Zaragoza and the Aragonese Institute of Health Sciences.
The purposes of the IIS Aragón are:
a) Bring together basic and applied, clinical and health services research.
b) Create a quality research, care and teaching environment that integrates health professionals, training specialists, postgraduate and undergraduate students.
c) Constitute the ideal place for attracting talent and locating large scientific-technological facilities.
The IIS Aragon, was accredited, following the proposal of the Carlos III Health Institute and the Ministry of Health, Social Welfare and Family of the Government of Aragon, after the previous favorable report issued by the Accreditation Evaluation Commission of the Carlos III Health Institute. (Order May 6, 2015).
In accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 339/2004, the Aragón Health Research Institute Foundation (IIS Aragón Foundation) is established, authorized according to Decree 125/2014, of July 22, of the Government of Aragon, for the governance and management of the IIS Aragón and facilitate the achievement of its objectives that incorporate the collegiate governing body with the representation of the entities that associate to form the IIS Aragón.
The IIS Aragon establishes short, medium and long-term strategies to disseminate the knowledge generated from the field of research to the general population and the user of the system. To this end, it establishes elements of periodic review and evaluation of its effectiveness, relying on highly prestigious professionals.

ATIGA is the alliance of the seven technological centres of reference in Galicia: AIMEN, ANFACO-CECOPESCA, CETIM, CTAG, ENERGYLAB, GRADIANT e ITG.The main objective of ATIGA is to generate and to transfer scientific and technological knowledge to the companies, being their strategic partner in R&D. Across the cooperation between the centres, ATIGA positions Galicia as technological reference, joining efforts to stimulate the participation of the Galician companies in European projects and promoting their internationalization.At present, with more than 1.700 employees, 1.400 of them researchers, the Alliance´s client portfolio exceeds 2,000 companies, 85% of them belonging to the industrial sector.In 2022 the Galician technology centers promoted 450 technological projects and developed 140 patents, with more than 90 million euros in turnover.
