Lowering water costs: Optimizing the energy-water nexus to achieve critical decarbonization goals. Empowering Citizens: Providing the tools and frameworks for communities to own, manage, and benefit directly from their local energy resources.
As we have largely bootstrapped our growth through R&D contracts and dedicated profits, this engagement is less about a traditional funding round and more about a strategic capital partnership for large-scale deployment. Indeed, we are seeking the strategic capital required to successfully execute a market acceleration plan: (1) Scale Global Reach: Rapidly deploy our AI-driven grid intelligence platforms across new international insular and decentralized markets; and (2) commercialize IP: Launch the commercial platform for managing Citizen and Renewable Energy Communities across Europe.
The total size of our current capital acceleration effort is specifically calibrated to meet our three major deployment milestones. Rather than targeting a round size, we define our capital requirement by the funding necessary to scale our proprietary AI models and hardware for high-penetration renewable energy integration across multiple international utility contracts, and fully commercialize our Citizen Energy Community management software platform for immediate market roll-out. This focused capital target reflects a highly efficient use of funds, designed to rapidly move our proven intelligence solutions from lab to market scale.

Nanological develops advanced solutions to transform the diagnosis of bacterial infections, with a strong focus on sepsis. Founded as a spin-off of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), the company commercializes a proprietary optomechanical sensing platform, exclusively licensed to Nanological and refined over more than a decade of research. This technology enables the rapid label-free characterization of individual cells and microorganisms directly from liquid samples by precisely measuring their mass, size, and optical absorption. Building on this core technology, Nanological is developing a novel point-of-care (POC) diagnostic device that integrates optomechanical sensing, disposable microfluidic cartridges, and AI-powered analysis software. The system is designed to identify pathogens directly from whole blood in under 30 minutes, dramatically reducing the 24–72 hours typically required by conventional blood culture methods. By advancing its technology toward industrial-scale manufacturing and working closely with hospitals and clinical partners, Nanological aims to accelerate the global adoption of rapid pathogen detection, ultimately improving diagnostic workflows and saving lives.
Sepsis is a life-threatening condition caused by a dysregulated immune response to infection, affecting around 50 million people worldwide and causing over 11 million deaths annually. Rapid and targeted treatment is critical, as every hour of delay in appropriate therapy increases mortality by 8%. However, current diagnostics based on blood cultures typically require 24-72 hours, forcing empirical use of broad-spectrum antibiotics, which can lead to suboptimal care and contribute to antimicrobial resistance. Hence, there is an urgent need for rapid point-of-care diagnostic tools that enable early pathogen identification for faster initiation of targeted treatment, improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs through shorter hospital stays.
Our technology has the potential to significantly improve public health by enabling earlier and more accurate detection of life-threatening bacterial infections, such as sepsis. By reducing diagnostic time from days to minutes, it allows clinicians to initiate the appropriate treatment sooner, dramatically reducing mortality, preventing complications and shortening hospital stays. Faster, targeted diagnosis also reduces unnecessary antibiotic use, helping to combat antimicrobial resistance, one of the greatest global health challenges. Beyond individual patient outcomes, widespread adoption of rapid diagnostics can ease the burden on healthcare systems, lower costs, improve resource allocation in emergency and critical-care settings, and increase equity of access to high-quality care, particularly in regions with limited laboratory infrastructure. As the technology scales, its impact will extend to broader range of infectious diseases, strengthening global preparedness, surveillance and response capacity.

In Europe, naval operations such as border control, surveillance, and maritime logistics lack modern, cost-effective, and sea-resistant aerial platforms. Helicopters are expensive (>€15M), costly to operate (>€3,000/h), and have limited endurance (~4h). Conventional drones offer short flight times (<1h) and cannot withstand harsh maritime conditions. Additionally, Europe depends on foreign manufacturers, creating strategic vulnerability in terms of autonomy and sovereignty. Our technology addresses these gaps by providing robust, long-endurance VTOL UAS designed for real maritime and extreme-environment operations.

Naplatec develops and produces high-value ingredients for the cosmetic, nutraceutical and food industries. Crocins are the potent carotenoids behind saffron’s health and cosmetic benefits. Our patented platform delivers the benefits of these plant-based bioactives to a wider population through a cost-effective, sustainable, scalable process.
Crocins are highly-valued carotenoides, not only as pigments, but also for their health-promoting properties including antioxidant activity, neuroprotective, anti-inflamatory, cardioprotective, anti-depressant, anti-diabetic, anti-cancer and skin health. Crocins are used in food, cosmetic and nutraceutical industries. The current sources of crocins are saffron and gardenia, which are extremely low yielding, labour intensive, and expensive. Naplatec's unique platform provides a new cost-effective, scalable source of crocins which will make the benefits of crocins available to a wider population.
Saffron is the most expensive spice in the world, and this limits the potential of the application of saffron-based crocins and the ability of society to benifit from their health promoting properties. Our solution makes these bioactives more accessible, democratizing access to their therapeutic potential for diverse populations. The Naplatec project brings high-value agricultural activity in rural areas by integrating science and cultivation of a high value product. It promotes the economic activity of local tecnological industries in the extraction and formulation, and provides a new and sustainable source of crocins in Europe. Our platmore significantly reduce the environmental. Compared to traditional sources of crocins, our approach requires less water, land, and energy, while also lowering CO₂ emissions.

This ban and the awareness of the relatively high toxicity of the components that make up standard artificial sports turf (virgin or recycled plastics) gave rise to the idea, previously developed through various European projects, of manufacturing these various components using bio-based compounds, resulting in a new product, innovative in the sector, which will be both recycled and recyclable.

We produce Graphene Quantum Dots from CO2, of high quality and single fluorescent color, non toxic for biomedicine, scalable, and a lower cost than competition. We also produce sustainable Carbon Black particles for pneumatic tires, saving 7 tons of CO2 per ton of Carbon Black vs competition.
Our pure, single color, and low cost Graphene Quantum Dots may enable cancer imaging. This may be achieved with Red GQDs linked to AI design small proteins that recognize cancer. Our sustainable Carbon Black can have a positive impact on climate change. Fox example, EU produces ~2.4 Gt. CO2 per year, and EU climate plans aims to reduce 55% these emissions by 2030, which means reducing ~132M tons/year. Our Carbon Black technology would reduce 54-81M tons/year CO2.

ANT is a technology-based spin-off of GTT , headquartered in Extremadura and with strong traditional ties to the region. It is a founding member of the Extremadura agricultural cluster and the National Association of Precision Agriculture (ANAP), and a member of the European Semiconductor Association (AENEAS. ANT, in collaboration with the University of Extremadura (UEx) and the Extremadura Center for Scientific and Technological Research (CICYTEX), has developed a laboratory prototype of ELECTRONIC-NOSES applied to the cultivation and indsutrial transformation of tomatoes. This development has been funded by the European Penta cluster of Eureka within the PLANtAR project and is nearing completion (October 2023), with results at a TRL 4 maturity stage and Junta de Extremadura by the project IDA3-23-003-3.
