Sustainable Development Goal:
Applications

R55‑treated mice remained on the beam for a longer time during the walking test, exhibiting fewer falls and slips compared to vehicle‑treated animals. T2‑weighted MRI analysis further showed that R55 treatment significantly reduced infarct volume. Together, these results demonstrate the strong neuroprotective effect of R55 and support its clinical potential — along with related compounds — to prevent excitotoxic neuronal death and brain damage caused by ischemic stroke.
