Researches from the Universitat Jaume I and the Public University of Navarra have developed a passive thermoelectric subcooling device for autonomous cooling equipment. The device improves the efficiency and behavior of the refrigeration circuit and is easily integrated into stand-alone refrigeration equipment. It is a compact and robust device with no moving parts, which requires minimal maintenance, no noise and great regulation capacity thanks to thermoelectric devices
