Reference electrode for the measurement and control of potentials in reinforced concrete structures
ES2968550
The final outcome of this development has been the fabrication of a new type of solid-state Reference Electrode of the metal oxide 1/metal oxide 2/metal type, based on the stability of the OCP of the REDOX Ni/Ni(II)/Ni(III) system, embedded in a cement mortar, for its application in the measurement and/or control of the electrical potential in the reinforcements of reinforced concrete structures. It is characterized by a highly stable electrical potential over time and very low or no maintenance requirements. This type of electrode presents special characteristics that make it useful for implementation in autonomous and remote systems for continuous monitoring of physicochemical parameters.
ADVANTAGES - Enhanced Adaptability: The technology demonstrates versatility for use in multiple environments or conditions, broadening its application scope. - Improved accuracy, precision and reliability. BUSINESS APPL. - Construction sector.
