The present invention relates to a device for securing a person's limb in a robotic exoskeleton. The exoskeleton comprises: a support structure, a motor 10 for exerting force, a pivoting arm rotated by the motor, a controller, and a securing device . The fastening device comprises at least one strap that fastens the limb of the person and a tensioner that tightens the strap and secures it to the pivoting arm, so that when the pivoting arm rotates, the strap pulls the limb of the person. 15 The object of the invention relates to the incorporation of at least one sensor in the strap that measures the pressure exerted by the strap on the person's limb and, therefore, allows the direct pressure applied to be known, thus avoiding excessive force being applied to the person or allowing an incorrect position of the strap to be determined.
