MODULAR THERMOELECTRIC HYBRID SOLAR COLLECTOR THAT CAN BE INTEGRATED INTO THE SHELL OF BUILDINGS
WO20193824
The invention relates to a modular device, for installation on facades and/or roofs, for the production of domestic hot water and electricity from solar energy. It consists of at least one photovoltaic glass sheet for the production of electricity, a phase-change material for heat storage and a water-PCM exchanger for the production of domestic hot water. The replacement of conventional photovoltaic panels with photovoltaic glass sheets as proposed by the invention improves both the accumulation of energy - since the solar radiation strikes the dissipator directly - and the resulting aesthetics of the building, by presenting a uniform surface with a great variety of colours. This last aspect would facilitate the architectural integration of this type of device, both in new buildings and in the energy renovation processes of existing buildings.

The replacement of conventional photovoltaic panels with photovoltaic glass improves both energy accumulation, because the solar radiation falls directly on the heat sink, and the visual appearance of the building, as the result is a homogeneous surface with a wide range of colors.
