SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REDUCING THE POWER REQUIRED IN THE START-UP STAGE FOR SUPERCRITICAL WATER OXIDATION PLANTS
WO15173438
The invention pertains to the technical sector of processes for the treatment of industrial wastewater, more concretely the sector relating to treatment by supercritical oxidation of aqueous waste. The invention relates to a system that implements a method which is an alternative to those commonly used for the start-up of supercritical water oxidation plants, which avoids the huge energy consumption involved in heating a continuous supply flow, and proposes heating the plant with the static fluid, i.e. heating the fluid contained inside all the pipes in the plant but without circulation.

Reduction of the costs associated with the process of raising the electrical power required for the start-up of the supercritical water oxidation process, improving the technical and economic feasibility of the process
