This present invention relates to a carbon nanotube coating to be used as a system for anchoring micro-nanoscale devices with therapeutic activity to the cell membrane and for conveying these devices to the cytosol. Also disclosed is a composition comprising (a) a micro-nanoscale device with therapeutic activity, and (b) a carbon nanotube coating that covers the micro-nanoscale device. Finally, the use of this composition is disclosed for antineoplastic therapies and for therapies against nervous system disorders.
