BIOCIDAL HARDENING PRODUCT FOR CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS
Patent number:
WO18020058
No items found.
The present invention relates to a composite material having biocidal activity, formed by copper oxide nanoparticles embedded in a silica gel. This novel material produces a hardening, biocidal and water-repellent effect on porous construction materials. Specifically, the invention relates to a product that can (1) impart biocidal and water-repelling capabilities to the treated surface, (2) improve the surface mechanical strength of the treated surface, and (3) form a cohesive coating that can adhere to the treated substrate.
