The machine is inserted in a buoy for translating the motion of the waves to generate electrical energy. The machine consists of two bodies that oscillate based on the translated motion of the waves. Both machine bodies have geometric structures that allow relative movement, and that are formed for receiving electrical circuits. The machine transforms the primary energy of the waves or wind into electrical energy without having to use mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic devices. The machine can be provided in asymmetric, cylindrical or spherical form.

Máquina eléctrica oscilante que consiste en una máquina de dos cuerpos que pueden oscilar en sus proximidades; ambos han de tener una estructura geométrica que permita su movimiento relativo, así como el alojamiento de los circuitos eléctricos de que consta la máquina. La máquina transforma la energía primaria (de las olas, del viento, etc.) directamente en energía eléctrica, es decir, sin necesidad de artilugios mecánicos, hidráulicos o neumáticos intermedios. Pueden considerarse varios diseños: máquina cilíndrica asimétrica, máquina cilíndrica lastrada o máquina esférica. Una posible aplicación es el aprovechamiento de la energía de las olas; si en la máquina se inserta en una boya, la acción de las olas sobre la misma se traduce en un movimiento relativo entre los dos cuerpos de la máquina y, por tanto, en la generación de la energía eléctrica.
