LASER NANOPARTICLE PRODUCTION SYSTEM
P202431114
Laser nanoparticle manufacturing stands out for its ability to produce high-purity nanoparticles, free of chemical contaminants, from virtually any solid material and in an ecological and highly versatile process. In general, the energy provided by high-power lasers exceeds the optimal energy required for the fabrication of nanoparticles in fluids. For better energy use and to obtain a greater production of nanoparticles, research personnel from the Universitat Jaume I have developed a system to produce nanoparticles that uses an ablation chamber with two transparent windows that allows irradiation on two sides of the same material or different materials. Furthermore, to make better use of that energy, advanced focusing systems are used that change the way energy is deposited on the sample.
- The synthesis of pure nanoparticles, without contaminants, from basically any material and in a versatile and sustainable way. - The incorporation of nanomaterials can improve the performance, uses, functions or durability of materials. - The present system allows an increase in productivity and the simultaneous manufacture of nanoparticles of different materials. - It also makes it possible to reduce extreme beam conditions that can damage system components. - Furthermore, the forming unit allows one or multiple foci to be generated and/or to modify their profiles and/or to correct aberrations.
