Soiling tracker

Patent number:

P202330295

No items found.

In solar facilities are employed large surfaces of glass or mirror that are exposed to the weather and whose soiling supposes a loss of efficiency and reduction in light, thermal or power production. The system developed by CIEMAT registers the evolution of the soiling that exists on any outdoor surfaces such as optical surfaces of energy systems, optical devices or glazing. Depending on the soiling levels determined, this device notifies to initiate the corresponding cleaning processes. The system is fixed on the surface to be monitored and, once performed the programmed measurements, they are registered and sent by wireless. Due to its low electrical consumption, it can be powered autonomously or from an external source.
