Biodegradable polymer-based active films with the capacity to incorporate natural bioactive compounds

A biodegradable polymer-based active films were developed in the lab and compared to traditional solutions such as propylene. Moreover, they were investigated for their capacity to incorporate natural bioactive compounds relevant for food and biomedical applications.
