New copper technology for the treatment of mildew, more efficient in terms of application and dosing. It is an aqueous formulation with microcapsules and copper cations at a concentration of 0,5 to 1 g/L.
The product id based on natural polymers in the form of microcapsules that contain copper, allowing the controlled release and dosing of copper. Chitosan, facilitates product adherence to crop leaves. Additionally, capsules may contain biologically active compounds (polyphenols and plant growth promoters). The polymers are biodegradable and can be obtained from natural resources (alginates and chitosan)
Effective and eco-friendly control of bacterial and fungal diseases, particularly mildew and powdery in vinyeards, olive trees, citrics and vegetables. Field tests in natural vineyard crops required 50% less copper than standard treatment (copper oxychloride)
