DUVOPS – Digital Twins Heterogeneous Unmanned Vehicles Ocean Preservation System

The DUVOPS project aims to develop an advanced technological solution to support ocean monitoring, environmental protection, and incident response through the coordinated use of autonomous unmanned vehicles. Based on Digital Twins of the maritime environment and supported by Artificial Intelligence for risk prediction and decision support, the solution integrates autonomous aerial, surface, and underwater vehicles operating cooperatively to monitor ocean areas. The project is developed in collaboration with the Computer Science and Communication Research Center (CIIC), the Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC TEC), and the Naval Research Center (CINAV), and will be validated through a functional prototype tested in a real operational environment, contributing to more effective and sustainable ocean conservation and maritime management.
