LITecS Pack2X

Pack2X is a reusable packaging add-on based on modular alveoli designed for perishable products. Each alveolus integrates a cavity filled with a phase change material (PCM) selected for the target temperature range, so it acts simultaneously as a product container and a passive thermal buffer, reducing temperature oscillations during transport and handling. The alveoli shape and internal layout are adapted to the product (e.g., fruit units, fish, or other chilled goods), improving temperature stability across the cold chain.

The system includes monitoring of temperature, humidity and position to support digital traceability across the cold-chain, diagnostic of flaws and troubleshooting.
