Through the use of advanced algorithms, complex intertwined fiber structures are 3D printed from smart alloys (Nitinol) that have superelastic and shape memory properties, allowing the manufactured actuators to undergo large deformations (>50%) while maintaining minimal hysteresis and returning to their original configuration with exceptional precision.
