SiChock is the result of a scientific and technological development that combines advanced sensing, IoT communications and data analytics to improve safety and efficiency at loading docks.

The system automatically detects the correct immobilization of the vehicle through a smart wheel chock, enabling the interlocking of critical dock elements (door and/or ramp) and preventing unintended vehicle movement during loading and unloading operations.

As an additional outcome, the solution generates objective, real-time data on truck dwell time, loading processes and dock usage, transforming a traditionally passive safety device into a unique source of operational and preventive intelligence for the logistics sector

The practical application of the product is to improve safety and operational control at loading and unloading docks in industrial and logistics facilities.

SiChock is installed at loading docks to automatically ensure vehicle immobilization before authorizing access to the dock (door and/or ramp), significantly reducing the risk of accidents caused by unintended truck movement.

In real operational environments, the system is used by operators, safety departments and logistics managers to both prevent incidents and monitor key performance indicators such as truck dwell time, loading duration and dock utilization, enabling safer, more efficient and data-driven dock operations.
