ROBOKINETICS
ROBOKINETICS
RoboKinetics aims to democratise advanced neurological rehabilitation through a patented robotic platform capable of optimising clinical resources and improving treatment efficiency. Our 6‑DOF isokinetic technology, unique in the market, transforms an elite, complex and costly therapy into an accessible, efficient and automated treatment, positioning us to lead a €1 billion robotic rehabilitation market.
Problem: STROKE (CVA) Isokinetic therapy is the gold standard for upper‑limb rehabilitation, but its high cost, complexity, and need for constant supervision limit it to single–degree‑of‑freedom machines used mainly with elite athletes. As a result, the vast market of neurological recovery (e.g., post‑stroke) remains underserved. Our Solution The core innovation lies in its ability to deliver full 6‑degree‑of‑freedom (6D) motion control (3D translation + 3D rotation), enabling natural, multi‑joint movements essential for neurological recovery. Unlike other systems, RoboKinetics adapts assistance or resistance in real time to the patient’s movement profile and physical condition. Its “programming by demonstration” interface drastically reduces setup time and empowers clinicians.
Our technology broadens access to high‑quality rehabilitation by delivering adaptive, 6‑degree‑of‑freedom therapy at a fraction of today’s cost and complexity. It accelerates recovery for stroke survivors, reduces pressure on healthcare systems, and supports clinicians with more efficient, data‑driven workflows. As the population ages and demand for rehabilitation grows, it offers a scalable solution that improves patient outcomes while strengthening the sustainability of care.

Sanzar Group
Sanzar Group
Sanzar Group develops deep-tech across four lines: an ADCS/ACS system to improve satellite pointing and agility, the “Logistic Flying Car” project for door-to-door logistics, surgical robotics systems, and a SaaS mapping/analytics platform for precision agriculture powered by satellite imagery and AI.
Satellite Agility & Coverage Limitations: Traditional reaction wheel systems severely limit satellite reorientation speed and operational coverage. Our ADCS/ACS system solves this with ultra-high precision pointing and exceptional agility, enabling satellites to capture significantly more imagery and data per orbit.Constellation Economics & Efficiency: In a real-world scenario covering Huvadhu Atoll (3,152 km²), our ADCS requires only 1 satellite versus 2 satellites with traditional reaction wheels, a 50% constellation reduction. This translates to lower CAPEX (fewer satellites to build and launch), reduced operational costs (maintenance, ground stations, operations), simplified mission design, and faster deployment to full operational capability.Size & Mass Constraints: Our compact design (less than 1U) is smaller and lighter than conventional systems, making it ideal for small satellite platforms from 3U to 30U, maximizing payload capacity while maintaining superior performance. Mission ROI: By covering more area per pass with higher agility, operators achieve better performance at lower total mission cost, reducing infrastructure requirements, operational complexity, and time-to-market for constellation deployment.
Sanzar Group's ADCS technology will significantly impact society by making satellite-based Earth observation more accessible and affordable through superior efficiency, requiring 50% fewer satellites to achieve the same coverage compared to traditional systems. This increased efficiency enables more frequent and cost-effective monitoring of critical environmental changes, agricultural conditions, disaster response, and climate patterns, democratizing access to space-based data for governments, research institutions, and commercial operators worldwide. By reducing constellation costs and improving satellite agility, the technology accelerates deployment of services that address global challenges including food security, climate action, and sustainable resource management, ultimately making space technology a more practical tool for solving pressing societal problems.

SIROCO
SIROCO
SIROCO is a project whose main objective is the development of a new concept of soft intelligent cervical orthoses with embedded sensors and actuators with the purpose of being used by users in order to 1) monitor their neck movements and 2) perform in two ways: a) passive mode, where the cervical orthosis simply sustains the neck but does not perform active movements on it, and b) active mode, where the cervical orthosis actuators perform movements on the neck in order to achieve specific head positions.

HISPANSION
HISPANSION
Hispansion is a Spanish deep-tech startup founded in 2024 and incubated at the ESA Business Incubation Centre (ESA-BIC). The company specializes in the development and production of high-fidelity lunar regolith simulants; materials engineered to replicate the chemical, mineralogical, and mechanical properties of the Moon’s surface. These simulants enable realistic testing of space technologies such as ISRU (In-Situ Resource Utilisation), lunar mobility systems, materials engineering, and infrastructure construction.
Hispansion solves the lack of high-fidelity, consistent, and safe lunar regolith simulants needed to test and validate lunar technologies on Earth, enabling reliable R&D and qualification for ISRU, mobility, excavation/handling, dust mitigation, construction, and sensor/instrument testing without relying on scarce, non-representative, or poorly characterized substitutes.
It accelerates safer and more cost-effective development of lunar missions and space technologies, reduces R&D waste by enabling reliable ground testing, and supports spin-offs in materials, robotics, and advanced manufacturing that can benefit industries on Earth.

Microsei Biotech, S.L.
Microsei Biotech, S.L.
Founded by researchers from IMDEA NUTRICIÓN, we perform microbiota analyses for diagnostic, scientific and clinical purposes at our laboratory in Madrid.
Microbiota and health The importance of microbiota for our health is widely accepted, and the consumption of food supplements containing prebiotics and probiotics has become extremely widespread. However, in order to contribute effectively to the restoration of this complex ecosystem, it is necessary to further the scientific study of the interrelationships between our organism and the microorganisms that coexist with us. Nevertheless, significant changes in our lifestyle, eating habits and, in particular, the widespread use of antibiotics have caused major imbalances in this ecosystem, imbalances that have been associated with numerous disorders.

60Nd
60Nd
60Nd is a deep-tech spin-off from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) that is redefining mechanobiology through its proprietary NeoMag® technology. We develop advanced instrumentation designed to study cellular responses to mechanical stimuli with unprecedented precision and throughput.
NeoMag® addresses the lack of physiological relevance in drug discovery and biomedical research, where current static models fail to replicate the mechanical forces of living tissues, significantly contributing to clinical trial failures.
60Nd’s technology will significantly impact society by accelerating the development of more effective therapies for critical conditions such as cancer, traumatic brain injury, and cardiovascular diseases. By integrating "mechanical reality" into drug discovery, our NeoMag® platform increases the predictive power of in vitro models, reducing the high failure rates of clinical trials and the associated multi-billion dollar costs. Furthermore, it promotes ethical scientific progress by providing a high-fidelity alternative that directly reduces reliance on animal testing, while strengthening European technological sovereignty in the high-growth biomedical instrumentation sector.

CLAP
CLAP
At CLAP we maximize virtual human embodiment. We focus on enabling realistic virtual interactions, bridging the gap between the real and digital worlds. Thanks to this vision, we are able to digitize a wide variety of processes, including the diagnosis and rehabilitation of mobility disorders such as those related to Parkinson's disease or multiple sclerosis.
The digital interaction is very poor. Options are limited to the use of controls or predefined hand gestures, which force a counterintuitive interaction and hinder learning, especially for novice users. Furthermore, the range of movement and interaction capabilities are extremely limited. In the field of physical therapy rehabilitation, diagnoses are slow, highly manual, and prone to error. Therapies are too general and do not take into account each patient's individual circumstances, leading to high dropout rates.
Improved mobility and autonomy for people with motor disorders, thanks to more effective and reliable diagnostic and rehabilitation processes.
