The present invention relates to a novel strain of Trichoderma aggressivum fsp europaeum with CECT deposition number 20974 and which has been named Tae52481. Given the properties of said novel strain, the present invention contemplates the use thereof to enhance the growth of plants, such as horticultural or ornamental crops. The invention also relates to a composition comprising said strain that is able to promote plant growth in saline soils with the presence of pathogenic stress conditions. To that end, the use thereof as a biofertiliser for plants is described.
