Applications

The invention refers to an in vitro method for quantifying the cellular content of a given RNA in a size independent manner. Specifically, the cellular content of long-non-coding RNA (lncRNAs), preferably total cellular content of lncRNA molecules transcribed from telomeric or sub-telomeric sequences, or present in telomeric regions, such as TERRA and/or TERC, can be quantified according to the present invention. It can be applied in biomedical field.
