The present invention relates to facial protection against the risk of exposure to infectious biological agents, such as micro-organisms, in particular those of the type comprising enveloped viruses, including SARS-CoV-2 and Gram-positive multi-resistant bacteria. In particular, the present invention relates to an element of face protection configured as face shields, goggles, helmets, face masks, face shields, counter or vehicle type face shields, etc. which prevents direct contact between the person and the biological agent, such as a micro-organism, in such a way as to avoid its inhalation and entry into the organism through the respiratory tract or by splashing (in a surgical operation for example), producing the desired effect through the inactivation of the infectious micro-organism once it comes into contact with the protective element.
