MOF-COATED GLASS VESSEL
P202131195
The present invention discloses a device formed by a glass vessel whose inner walls have been modified. This modification has been carried out after successive activation, silanization and amidation reactions to accommodate crystalline porous coating. This atomic sequence coating -Si-O-R-M-MOF is covalently bonded to the inner wall of the vessel in an inverted radial pattern. The vessel can be used for the extraction and preconcentration of analytes present in samples of different nature, from environmental to biological. It is also proposed to be used for dosing drugs or for coloring or flavoring beverages.

Advantages - Low production cost - Simple manufacturing process - Higher and faster extractive capacity than in thin-films or SPME. - Simple use in analytical laboratories (e.g., add sample, shake, remove sample, add desorption solvent, shake, and spike solvent in the corresponding technique). - Simpler and faster procedure than the standards for sample preparation. Aplications Sample Analysis (Analytical Chemistry and Medicine) Drug dosing (Biotechnology and Biomedicine) Coloring and flavoring of beverages (Agri-Food Industry)
