The invention relates to a structural tensegrity module contained in a prism defined by a lower base and an upper base having 2n sides, comprising 2n lower corner nodes aligned with the vertices of the lower base and 2n lower intermediate nodes aligned with the mid-point of each side of the lower base, and 2n upper corner nodes aligned with the vertices of the upper base and 2n upper intermediate nodes aligned with the mid-point of each side of the upper base. The module comprises at least 2n compression elements, the first end of each compression element being located on the lower base and the second end of each compression element being located on the upper base. The module comprises at least (6n - 2) traction elements having a first end connected to one end of a first compression element and a second end connected to one end of a second compression element. The invention also relates to a two-layer structural mesh.
