Applications

The invention subject to protection refers to an apparatus and method for the production of metal powder through microwave-induced plasma spheroidization. It allows the manufacturing of metal powder from metallic scrap of other processes, especially high-value metals such as titanium, aluminum, copper, stainless steel, or tungsten carbide. The obtained powder can be used in additive manufacturing and powder metallurgy processes.
