The present invention provides the use of oleuropein in immunotherapy, particularly as adjuvant. Particularly, the invention provides the use of oleuropein in combination with a 5 checkpoint inhibitor in the treatment of cancer. The invention also provides combinations comprising the oleuropein and the checkpoint inhibitor, as well as pharmaceutical compositions and kits of parts including the combination. Advantageously, the oleuropein reprograms TAMCs, increasing the sensitivity towards anticancer therapies based on checkpoint inhibitors.
