Personalized nutrition (PN) has emerged as a promising field to slow down the non-communicable disease pandemic. Current PN tools, based on genetic and transcriptomic approaches, fail to assess metabolic risks causing NCD. Our PN tool defines the user’s personal metabolic profile with a novel methodology based on the specific omic biomarkers clusterization using a customized algorithm and identifies unbalanced processes that could trigger NCD if untreated. Next, our NP tool provides personalized dietary and behavioral recommendations to improve current health and reduce the risk of disease over time, using a friendly web to ensure user’s fidelity.
