The present invention relates to an in vitro method of diagnosis of a Pseudomonas aeruginosa ST175 infection, wherein it comprises the identification of the nucleotide sequence SEQ ID NO: 1 or, alternatively, that of a fragment thereof; or, alternatively, that of a sequence with at least a 99% of identity with the nucleotide sequence SEQ ID NO: 1; or, alternatively, that of a product of expression of it. It also relates to an in vitro method for deciding or recommending an antibiotic treatment comprising the detection of such sequences as well as its use and a kit comprising the specific tools for their identification.
