PORTABLE DEVICE FOR THE MEASUREMENT OF MAPS OF DISPLACEMENTS OF SURFACES IN THE THREE SPATIAL DIRECTIONS
P201330411
Portable optoelectronic device which allows measurements of full field displacements of a surface in the three spatial directions. It consists of a subsystem of image acquisition that visualizes the surface to be measured, a subsystem of illumination that projects structured light on said surface, a subsystem of alignment and calibration, and a subsystem of processing and control that controls the device and performs a processing of the images. The device is based on the combination of two techniques, one to obtain the deformation out of plane (for example projection of stripes) and another to obtain the deformation in the plane (for example digital correlation of 2d images). The novelty of the device is that it allows an alignment, a calibration and a correction of the displacements necessary to obtain quantitative and truthful results.

The device analyses deformations in structures by means of alignment, calibration and correction of the displacements necessary to obtain quantitative and reliable results.
