La ventaja de esté biosensor es que facilita el análisis del estado locomotor del animal. Permite la detección de anomalías en la cinemática de animales asintomáticos que anticipa la aparición de signos clínicos o patologías, especialmente aquellos que influyen directamente en el movimiento como, por ejemplo, las cojeras, lo que evitaría el sufrimiento y, por tanto, la mejora en el bienestar del animal. Esto, además, conduce a prevenir patologías y, por tanto, a reducir los costes de tratamientos. En el ámbito de aplicación comercial va dirigido al Sector ganadero, Sector sanitario, Compañías objetivo: Digitanimal, Faire Limited, Roche Diagnostics, EyeSense AG, Novo Nordisk
