The invention relates to a floating structure for using the energy of the surge of the waves, said structure comprising a plurality of aligned independent oscillating water column (OWC) chambers that are open at the bottom, each chamber (1) communicating with the atmosphere through the top part via a turbogenerator group formed by an air conduit (14) containing a valve for controlling the air flow (16) and a self-rectifying air turbine (15) connected to an alternator (17).
