AMICA

This software platform is devoted for processing multispectral/hyperspectral images, determining up to 70 composite indices from different bands, and generating orthophotos and/or point clouds in the field of Agriculture 5.0. The platform also features different modules based on artificial intelligence for the detection and geolocation of trees/plants and weeds, estimation of fruit tree production, etc.
The AMICA platform has clear practical applications within precision agriculture, environmental monitoring, and territorial management. Its unified workflow -from the radiometric processing of multispectral images to the generation of vegetation indices, orthophotos, and 3D models- allows technicians, researchers, and agricultural professionals to monitor crop health, detect stress or nutritional deficiencies, optimize irrigation and fertilization, and obtain early warnings of pests or diseases. The integration of artificial intelligence enables the automatic detection and counting of trees, while the georeferenced visualization tools facilitate the extraction of spatial indicators for decision-making. Beyond agriculture, AMICA supports forest inventories, post-fire assessment, hydrological analysis, and environmental risk prevention, offering a versatile platform adaptable to scientific research, industry, and public administration.
