C5 EuroSafe is a modular conversion kit that enables existing unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) to achieve the C5 class marking required for STS-01 operations in urban environments. The solution is designed to be fully interchangeable and installable by the operator, without sending the aircraft back to the manufacturer and without affecting the original warranty.

The kit integrates two core safety technologies: a mechanical Flight Termination System (FTS), based on a battery extraction mechanism for immediate and deterministic power shutdown (patent pending), and an impact energy reduction device that significantly lowers the kinetic energy transferred to the ground in the event of an emergency.

C5 EuroSafe provides a cost-effective system to regulatory compliance, extending the operational life of existing C1/C2/C3 platforms and enabling safe, certified urban drone operations without redesigning or replacing the UAS.

Applications

The C5 EuroSafe kit is intended to be installed on existing C1/C2/C3 class unmanned aircraft systems to enable their operation under the European STS-01 standard in urban environments. Its practical application is to provide a fast, reliable and affordable pathway to C5 compliance, allowing operators to legally conduct missions that would otherwise be restricted.

Typical applications include urban infrastructure inspection, emergency and civil protection operations, law enforcement support, environmental monitoring, and industrial inspections in urbanareas.
