A self-sensing (SS) soft robotic gripper finger (SRGF) was produced via FFF additive manufacturing using a multimaterial approach that combines conductive (piezoresistive) and non-conductive TPU. Developed within the ROBOTA SUDOE project, this design enables the LITecS SS-SRGF to exhibit measurable changes in electrical resistance in response to deformation, allowing the development of a cost-effective, self-sensing manipulator for delicate handling tasks.
