Prevolution: precision nutrition tool
Based on cutting-edge research, including our own, we’ve developed and validated a unique analysis that reveals how the key processes regulating an individual’s metabolism are functioning. Metabolism is shaped by five core processes: lipid metabolism, carbohydrate metabolism, inflammation, oxidative stress, and the intestinal microbiota. We identified a concise set of high-value biomarkers to assess each of these processes and created a clustering algorithm that highlights which process should be prioritized to improve overall health. By integrating the results of this analysis with personal data and individual preferences, our software then generates highly personalized nutritional and behavioral recommendations aimed at improving the target cluster.
Current nutrition plans based solely on genetic analysis have shown important limitations, particularly their inability to account for environmental and metabolic risk factors that trigger non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, chronic respiratory diseases, and diabetes. By integrating our advanced metabolic analysis with highly personalized recommendations, we developed PREVOLUTION, a Precision Nutrition tool designed to close this gap. In addition, we have developed an app that supports long-term commitment and helps users follow their personalized recommendations with ease.
