Diego Garrido has 18 years of experience in various leadership roles in the agri-food sector, including quality, operations, industrial management, R&D management, and as the general director of a business association. Over the past years, he has overseen the strategy and execution of innovation plans and facilitated a network of national and European technological partners. In this role, he has managed projects with key players in SINAI across different areas such as food, sustainability, biotechnology, industry 4.0, 3D printing, and digital and ecological transformation. During this period, he served as the President of the Agri-Food Cluster Food+I and was a member of the Agri-Food Cluster of Navarra (Nagrifood) and the Board of Trustees of ADITECH. Additionally, he has developed his own entrepreneurship project in biotechnology. Diego has also completed the Business Management Program for Food Companies at the International Institute San Telmo and has been part of the research staff at the University of La Rioja in the field of Chemical Engineering, the University of Genoa in the Department of Pharmaceutical and Food Science and Technology, and the Institute of Catalysis and Petrochemistry of the C.S.I.C. in Madrid.
