Implement for the mechanised creation of micro-watersheds for the collection of runoff, with a metal structure equipped with means of attachment of the implement to a bulldozer's implement carrier and/or to the three-point hitch of a tractor, consisting of a main plate (1) and two side plates (3), joined at an angle of approximately 135°, below which there are two blades (2), inclined towards the front of the implement at an angle of approximately 150º to the vertical, defining a coulter which penetrates the ground and is dragged intermittently, accumulating earth and creating a ridge of earth, with an appreciably semi-circular configuration.
- The tractor works, as has been said, following lines of maximum slope, which allows it to work with slopes of over 30%, and can reach slopes of up to 60%. - The execution of the micro-basin allows its dimensions and the height of the ridge to be adapted to the previously established design. - It can be used in forest restoration in arid, semi-arid and dry sub-humid areas to combat desertification processes. - It can also be used in tree plantations for landscaping and gardens. - It can also be used for the establishment of woody crops (olive groves, vineyards, carob trees, almond trees, etc.) in the climatic zones indicated where, in addition, many developing countries are located, with a need to increase agricultural production in general and food production in particular.
