The invention relates to a mannequin bust for medical puncture and aspiration simulation, for use in simulation of fine needle aspiration biopsies (FNAB). The device is formed by a rigid anthropomorphic structure of part of a bust; a silicone coating located on at least part of the anthropomorphic structure and designed to simulate the skin of a human being; and at least one load of aspiration material which allows users to practice and simulate punctures and aspiration of biological material in a safe and effective manner.
It allows the complete process of Fine Needle Aspiration Puncture (FNA) to be carried out in a simulated clinical context, including the characterization of the lesion on an anthropomorphic structure, palpation and puncture of said lesion, as well as obtaining material that simulates lesional content and that is susceptible spread on slides by using a needle connected to a syringe with or without a vacuum system.
