The present invention describes a method for obtaining a pharmaceutical composition, using acetogenins with supramolecular polymer micelles, to treat skin cancer. The method includes the biodirected isolation of acetogenins from, for the first time, leaves of Annona cherimola and the encapsulation of acetogenins, by generating supramolecular polymer micelles, mixing an aqueous solution of a-cyclodextrin and urea with an acetogenin solution in an organic solvent, and subjecting the end solution to dialysis in water to purify it. The encapsulated compound obtained using this method has a potency greater than that shown by the compound without encapsulation, which also facilitates the administration of the drug, as this can be performed in an aqueous medium and does not require an organic solvent or a formulation.
