Heterogeneous catalyst for biodiesel production consisting of an aluminosilicate (pumice) with a particle size between 2-5 mm and impregnated with an alkali metal obtained from a LiNO3 precursor. Its use is proposed for the biodiesel production at low-temperature from different oils, such as vegetable oils, used frying oils, as well as oils from energy crops (non-edible).
