The technology, the result of the work of three Spanish research institutions, enables the degradation of organic pollutants in aqueous solution, using a hybrid catalyst (based on titanium oxide and graphene). This technology it has proven to be particularly effective in the degradation of some herbicides and pesticides (isoproturon, alachlor, methomyl, pyrimethanil) working at room temperature and with irradiation between UV and visible. The preparation of the material follows the principles of Green Chemistry
