El metabolismo de la tiamina está alterado en la enfermedad de Huntington. Nuestros estudios in vivo muestran que el tratamiento con tiamina y biotina revierte los síntomas de la enfermedad. Actualmente estamos evaluando la seguridad y tolerabilidad del tratamiento combinado tiamina-biotina en un ensayo clínico multicéntrico con pacientes.
