Treatment of effluents of great flow. The present invention may be applied on aquaculture farms that have to treat high recirculation water flow rates for the elimination of nitrogen contaminants and organic matter, either to comply with the pouring limits or to recirculate water within the farm.
The present invention refers to a process for the treatment of water in productions with high flows and low concentrations of nitrogenous species, in particular in aquaculture production. More specifically, it refers to a water treatment process that allows its subsequent recirculation, maintaining an adequate quality for aquaculture production and avoiding toxicity for cultivated species. The present invention also relates to equipment for said treatment.
