Method of micropropagation of the marine phanerogam species cymodocea nodosa. The present invention relates to a method that allows the micropropagation of the seagrass species cymodocea nodosa from several sources of plant material (explants containing the newly embryo embryo, embryonic tissue after germination, layers of free cells or free cells obtained by enzymatic digestion of embryo explants) extracted from germinated seeds of the selected species. Once the embryo explants of the selected species have been obtained, in an aqueous culture medium comprising at least one component selected from a list of elements in which ammonium or ammonium ions and phosphate or phosphate ions are found, proceeds to the disinfection of the same for later to carry out the culture, in aqueous culture medium, of embryo explants, fragments of embryo explants or free cells obtainable by enzymatic digestion of embryo explants. Subsequently, and from the cultivation of this vegetable source of the selected species, seedlings of the selected species are obtained that can be used for different purposes, among which is the establishment (sebadales), temporary or permanent, of populations of the selected species to improve the quality of the seabed.

Las ventajas de la presente invención respecto a la micropropagación, es la vía para aumentar la producción cuando las capacidades naturales de las especies, ya que estas son bajas. Esta técnica de propagación asexual in vitro de especies vegetales, mejora los estados medioambientales para el establecimiento permanente o temporal de poblaciones de Cymodocea nodosa (sebadales) a fin de mejorar la calidad del lecho marino, además de restaura las poblaciones de sebadales con fines ecológicos ambientales. Pesqueros para el establecimiento de criaderos artificiales de alevines. Ventajas en el sector turísticos para el poblamiento vegetal de grandes acuarios. La realización Biotecnológica, ayuda para la obtención de genotipos a partir de la selección celular in Vitro.
