Sustainable Development Goal:
Applications

The authors of the present invention have designed a new hydrogel with the ability to incorporate molecules, including low-polar molecules, in particular drugs and low-polar active substances. The hydrogels of the present invention are designed so that they have microdomains in which molecules are incorporated, more specifically drugs and active substances can be incorporated, which can also form complexes with nitrogenous bases that are incorporated into the hydrogel. The hydrogels of the present invention are useful in the treatment of pathological or physiological conditions, in the elaboration of topical, transdermal or transmucosal delivery systems of molecules and in the preparation of cosmetics.
